Course Delivery
- Our "flipped classroom" delivery method aims to increase student engagement and learning by having the learner's complete readings at home and work on live problem-solving during contact time.
- This pedagogical style moves activities, including those that may have traditionally been considered homework, into the "webinar" meeting sessions.
- With a flipped classroom, students read course notes, watch online resources, collaborate in online discussions, or carry out research at home, while actively engaging in concepts in the classroom, with a facilitator's guidance.
- Certain courses require 1to2 hours periodically scheduled webinar "direct instruction and exchange interaction" with the course facilitator.
- Others are self-directed independent studies.
